DIGITAL HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC POPULARIZER
Project for transversal skills and orientation
The European Commission has indicated education and training as the two fundamental themes for acquiring skills and competences, in order to interpret the changes in society.

The acquisition of transversal skills (soft skills) through learning processes of "know-how", (the ability to interact, work in a team, solve problems, creativity, critical thinking, awareness and resilience), will determine the possibility for students to respond to the needs of the working world, and to fit into different contexts, informal, formal and non-formal.

The "European Festival of Ancient Greece" organization promotes the protection and enhancement of human and cultural heritage, passing on and disseminating values, knowledge and socio-cultural traditions, through the implementation of historical-artistic and experiential itineraries.

Disseminating knowledge, the only wealth that multiplies only if shared, telling it, experimenting with it and devising new forms of narration, sharing evidence, facts and concepts with as many people as possible, is the organisation's mission.
The project aims to train an innovative and current professional figure, "the digital historical-artistic popularizer", to build a path in which the knowledge and skills acquired by the students act as a stimulus for the creation of content, historical events and to operate in the field of the online dissemination.

“The digital historical-artistic popularizer” interprets and translates the changes in the world of digital communication into an experiential form, deploying the skills acquired, in order to enhance the cultural, national, transnational and territorial heritage, to update and disseminate contents relating to the cultural goods, both tangible and intangible, through the use of digital tools, also in other languages, and specifically, through social networks. The path connects the practical and organizational aspects of face-to-face initiatives and digital dissemination.

The students, involved in this training experience, will have the opportunity to enrich their cognitive and creative ability, acquiring concepts, historical-social and artistic facts, disseminating them in an experiential and digital form.
The project wants to promote knowledge of the national and transnational artistic, cultural, landscape heritage, education for its protection and valorization, in a broader perspective of sustainable development, active and digital citizenship. Therefore, it is essential to guide students in research and sensitivity towards beauty.

The objectives of the project can be traced back to teaching practice, since the articulation of knowledge, divided into skills, abilities and knowledge, referring to the cultural, language, scientific-technological, historical-social axes, constitutes the "fabric" with the in which the student acquires the fundamental skills that prepare him for social and working life.
